Abstract
Society is fascinated by psychopaths and the crimes they commit. However, a lot of the information that’s shared is false or not entirely true. People often use the words psychopath and sociopath interchangeably when they are different disorders. Most psychopaths don’t commit evil crimes, the majority are workplace psychopaths that want power over others. To understand psychopaths learning about their childhoods is essential because their childhoods influence who they become in the future. People need to learn about the traits of a psychopath so they can figure out themselves if the people that society calls psychopaths, are truly psychopaths.
